Are you interested in a Worship Opportunity? 

  • On Sundays, we hold an 8 a.m. Traditional worship that includes traditional hymns, an offering, and scripture readings on which a message of God's word is based. Additionally, there is a 10:10 a.m. Contemporary service which includes contemporary music like that you hear on any popular Christian music radio station, performed by the Praise Band, and the same great Bible lesson as provided in the earlier service that same day.  Both services are for all age groups.  Babysitting is available during both services.

    •  You're welcome to join in one of our Christian Education Classes from 9:15-10:15 a.m. There are classes available from toddler through senior ages.

     

    Are you interested in a Bible Study Opportunity?

     Currently there are Bible studys and discussion groups running every Wednesday evening throughout the year. It is held from 6:30-8 p.m. For more information on this study please call the Church office at 838-4721 or email gravelhill@comcast.net.

     Many Bible Study opportunities will begin with the start of the new school year and with the start of our Wednesday evening program titled, "Be In The Light." There will be one or two youth Bible Studies, a Tuesday morning Ladies Bible Study, a Wednesday evening Bible study, and the possibility of two Disciple Bible Studies. Please check back for updates on these opportunities.

     

    Are you interested in a Missions Opportunity?

     Though each Sunday School class has its own missions work in place, we have two teams who are dedicated to identifying and coordinating efforts for local, statewide, nationwide and worldwide missions. The Missions Team looks for opportunities from all the previously mentioned areas.  The Partners in Missions Team is a smaller subgroup that centers its work around our local community. And, both are open to suggestions of missions to assist.

     Please remember, too, that a mission is something for which your heart feels passionate. It is something that you do freely. When you give freely of your time to benefit anyone around you - you are taking part in a mission from God to help your fellow man, and thereby spreading the word of God through your good and thoughtful work.

     For example, one of our members has taken on the birthday card ministry, while another has joined our visitation ministry team, yet another member is happily volunteering his time in a grounds maintenance ministry.
